Russia – Ukraine war updates: daily briefings as of August 18, 2019

Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of August 18, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 8 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours

(2) Russian proxies launched 7 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Lebedynske (2 times),

automatic grenade launchers – near Pavlopil (2 times),

grenade launchers of different systems – Pavlopil (2 times) and Pishchevyk,

small arms – near Pavlopil, Lebedynske and Pishchevyk.

(3) Russian proxies launched 1 attack near the settlement of Pivdenne in the North area with the use of the following arms:

grenade launchers,

small arms.

(3) No losses and wounded in actions reported among Ukrainian serviceman for the past day.
