Russia - Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  September 17, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces intensified activities and launched 35 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian forces used mortar launchers of differnet calibers during attacks in Krymske; the enemy fired with forbidden 120- and 82-mm mortars in Novotoshkivske;
(3) Donetsk direction: Russian occupiers shelled with forbidden 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms upon Ukrainian positions in Avdiivka industrial area; the enemy's attacks reported also in Mayorsk and Pisky;
(4) Mariupol direction: Russian troops fired with 82-mm mortar launchers upon Ukrainian troops in Shyrokino and Pavlopil; Russian proxies used grenadde launchers fire against Ukrainian forces near Bogdanivka, Vodyane and Starognativka;
(5) No lethal casualties reported among Ukrainian troops as well as no wounded in action in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours.
