Drones attacked a Rosrezerv oil storage facility near Penza
In Russia’s Penza region, drones attacked a Rosrezerv oil storage facility on the night of November 13, as reported by Russian media.
According to local residents, one of the tanks sustained damage, which was confirmed by footage taken at the site. Meanwhile, regional governor Oleg Melnichenko stated that three drones crashed in a forested area, and there were no casualties. Video footage shows a damaged tank at the oil depot, identified as the “Kombinat Utyos Rosrezerv” oil storage facility located in the village of Montazhne near Penza.
The “Kombinat Utyos Rosrezerv” facility is known for storing and stockpiling oil and its refined products. The distance from the storage site to the Ukrainian border exceeds 700 kilometers.
That same night, an attack by drones was also reported in Russia’s Voronezh region, damaging a non-residential building on an industrial site. In recent months, drone strikes have become more frequent in Russian regions bordering Ukraine. Just the night before, on November 12, unknown drones attacked an oil depot in the Belgorod region, causing a fire.
