Consequences of another nighttime Russian attack

On the morning of November 17, Russia launched missile and drone strikes on Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Lviv, and Poltava. Emergency responders are working on-site, and the full extent of the damage is being assessed.

📍 Kyiv – A missile strike caused a fire covering an area of 0.5 square meters and partially destroyed the roof of a five-story residential building in the Pecherskyi district. One apartment on the 5th floor was also damaged. One person was injured, and 30 residents were evacuated to safety. Debris fell in the Holosiivskyi, Desnianskyi, and Dnipro districts.

📍 Kyiv Region – Debris from downed targets caused damage in four districts of the region. An infrastructure facility, 21 private houses, 5 outbuildings, a shop, 2 garages, an administrative building, and 5 vehicles were damaged. A 45-year-old woman was injured.

📍 Mykolaiv Region – A drone attack resulted in 2 deaths and 6 injuries, including two children.

📍 Lviv Region – A main heat supply pipe was damaged, leaving 6,000 people without heat. Falling missile debris in the Sheptytskyi district killed one person and injured two others.

📍 Dnipropetrovsk Region – The aggressor targeted Dnipro in the morning. A 42-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds, and apartment buildings, an educational institution, and a car were damaged. There were also attacks in Kryvyi Rih, Samarskyi district, and Kamianske, causing several fires. A railway depot was hit, killing two railway workers and injuring three others.

📍 Odesa Region – Two people were killed in the attack, and a 17-year-old teenager was injured. The region is experiencing disruptions in heating, water, and electricity supplies.

📍 Poltava Region – Missile debris damaged the windows of six apartment buildings in the Kremenchuk district, and five cars caught fire. One person was severely injured and hospitalized.
