After the damage to the Kurakhiv Reservoir dam, water levels continue to rise in downstream villages on the Vovcha River

Currently, no houses have been flooded. The Kurakhiv Military Administration suspects that one of the sluices may have been damaged, as Russia has been attempting to hit the dam with aerial bombs over the past three months. “We haven’t been able to reach and inspect the dam. Water continues to rise below the Terny Dam. I’ve been in contact with colleagues, and there’s no critical situation, and no homes have been flooded yet,” stated the head of the Military Administration.

As a reminder, Russian forces damaged the Kurakhiv Reservoir dam in Donetsk region yesterday. Due to ongoing shelling, the dam inspection has not yet been possible.
