The fifth Kyiv Jewish Forum will focus on resisting the “Axis of evil” and combating antisemitism

On November 13, the fifth Kyiv Jewish Forum will take place – a yearly event that brings together leading global figures to discuss and propose solutions to some of the most pressing issues facing Jewish communities worldwide.

KJF-2024 is organized by the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine, led by Boris Lozhkin, and Israel’s leading media outlet, The Jerusalem Post.

“Speakers and guests of the forum will attempt to address how to confront the modern axis of evil, consisting of Russia, Iran, and North Korea. They will also explore ways to counter the rising threat of antisemitism worldwide and to maintain unity within the Jewish diaspora. The role of the U.S. in addressing all these issues is critical,” said Boris Lozhkin, President of the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine and Vice-President of the World Jewish Congress.

The main goal of KJF-2024 is to emphasize the importance of trilateral relations between the U.S., Ukraine, and Israel in ending the two largest ongoing wars of our time.

Participants in KJF-2024 will include Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S. Oksana Markarova, Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky, CEO of the American Jewish Committee Ted Deutch, Knesset Speaker (2013-2020) Yoel Edelstein, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak, Director of the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center John Herbst, Soviet dissident and Israeli politician and human rights activist Natan Sharansky, among others.

A live stream will be available via the link on the Kyiv Jewish Forum website and on the NV.ua website.

The event begins on November 13 at 9:00 a.m. Washington time and 4:00 p.m. Kyiv time. This year, the forum will be held online with its main venue in Washington.
