Public meeting with MEP Rebecca Harms

Rebecca Harms is a member of the European Parliament, she co-chairs the Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance and is a long-standing advocate of the anti-nuclear movement and green energy. She might be though more familiar to Ukrainians as an ardent and long-time supporter of Ukraine on the international arena. She has been supporting Ukrainians in their pro-European aspirations since early days of the Euromaidan. Mrs. Harms visited the Maidan square during the Revolution of Dignity several times. She keeps supporting the country’s reforms path as well as actively participates in the Free Savchenko campaign helping spread the word and push on Russia to release Ukrainian political prisoners including Nadiya. Rebecca Harms is also a member of the Delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee within the European Parliament and a substitute with the Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Delegation to the EU-Russia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee.
